Everyone has a story, a different reason for moving, different needs and many move from other states. The other part of this for me is networking around the world. I have a strong support system of Realtors anywhere my clients want to be. If it weren't for real estate, I wouldn't have the chance to meet so many personalities and work with these amazing people.
I travel throughout Metrowest, Worcester and Norfolk counties showing beautiful, unique and one-of-a-kind properties. Sure, not all homes are picture perfect, that makes my job very entertaining. I certainly have some crazy stories I could share.
Let's face it, moving isn't easy! I try to bring a little humor into everything I do...while getting my clients a little closer to where they want to be. Every seller's home is very special to them and making sure I provide them with outstanding service is important to me. Each buyer has individual wants and needs. Getting to know my buyer takes patience. Listening is key to finding the perfect home that makes their eyes light up when they walk in. Everyone wants a home, not just a house.
You must be self-motivated and organized, there's a lot of work to be done. I'm constantly on the move from home showings, preparing homes for the market, photo shoots, staging, open houses, inspections, appraisals, walk thru's to closings and any appointments that arise at any given time. Not to mention all the paperwork, phone calls and social media comprised in between.
No two sales are the same, which keeps you from that ever-boring desk job. With that comes a lot of learning and the ability to be flexible. There can be a lot of late nights, bumps in the road and fires to put out behind the scenes. But also, a lot of happy clients, smiling faces, keys being handed out and SOLD signs going up.
Working together every day for months it's hard not to create a friendship or bond with my buyers and sellers. Even the ones that move away keep in touch one way or another. With each home I sell, my circle of friends grows.
As you can see real estate for me is more than just a job. It's a significant part of who I am, how I live my life and the world around me.

Brenda Demers’ passion for real estate started early when she purchased her first home in Shrewsbury at the age of nineteen. Since then, she has built, designed and sold five homes of her own and has helped countless clients on their own real estate journeys.
Brenda has been a Realtor for many years,

Prior to becoming a Realtor, Brenda owned and operated her own photography business for eighteen years which allows her to see a client’s home in a different light.
